Streetphotography Book

Every photographer wants his pictures in a photo book. But only a few are good enough to have their own publication.
Second best should be a book with one or more of your pictures in it. 
So let's make this book!

I'm going to make a beautiful book with streetphotography in it. I call it 'Streetphotobook'.

To get in the book is easy:
* You must have a  very good streetphoto!
* You have to pay for your page(s) in the book. I think we can make it for about 140,-- euro per page.

For this money you won't get only space in the book, you also will  receive 10 books!
You can give these books away, which is a wonderful present. But if you want you can sell the book and earn some money with it. I don't care at all what you do with the book.
You can buy 1 page or 2 or 3... you will receive 10 books or 20, or 30 etc etc


The book will be about 250 pages with photography.  Only one picture per page, so it will be a really beautifull publication of your work.  On your page will come your name, titel of the picture and a short caption if you want. In the back of the book comes an alphabetical list with all the contact information you want to be published. (websites, email, telephone etc).

For the editing of the book I have some colleagues who will help. First we look at the quality of the pictures. We want a book with really good pictures. Then we sort out where in the book your picture will appear. We are experienced editors, so we arrange all pictures in a way that there is some connection with other pages, that there is a nice flow in the book. Of course, if you buy 2 pages and you will have them in a spread, it is possible!

Michiel Wijnbergh is a dutch photographer. He works since 1983 as free lance photographer for newspapers, magazins and companies.

For his trade union he produced the past 10 years five times a photobook.  There was no money at all for this book,  but by selling the pages to the members photographers, it was possible to pay the production.

Because the whole process is payed in advance, the book was given away to its members! No distribution costs and the whole circulation sold out.

This is the way the Streetphotobook is going to be produced. Buy a page or some pages, you will get a box full of books in return.  You can also see it this way: if you buy 10 books, we give you a full page in the book.
